Best Cash Back Sites

Earning money on items you already buy is a no-brainer. But what are the sites that are trustworthy vs scams? Here is a list of the top sites I recommend to use to earn cash back on everyday purchases.

Ebates

We have all seen the commercials and ads for Ebates over the years. The first reaction is usually “it’s too good to be true.” However, Ebates lives up to the hype. It was one of the first online cashback sites to come on the scene and it has stood the test of time. You can add the Ebates button to your browser and you are ready to shop. Any site that you visit that is on the Ebates store will pop up and tell you how much you can make back.

The site itself is extremely user-friendly and helpful too. You can look up a specific site, check out hot deals, which stores are double cash back, and even look up how to get the most back for booking vacations. The travel perks of booking on a site that offers cash back make traveling on a budget extremely possible.

Getting cash back for places you already shop is a no-brainer, and if you are looking for the best overall shopping site, Ebates is the one you want.

Swagbucks

I love Swagbucks. It is my favorite overall money-saving site. I recommend it so much that I have an entirely separate post about how to maximize your use on Swagbucks to earn the most back.

One of the ways to earn money is through shopping. Similar to Ebates, Swagbucks also offers the option of adding a button to your browser so you never miss an opportunity for cash back. I have both installed on mine for comparison. The best way to tell which site to use is to see who is currently offering the biggest cash back at the moment.

Not all sites are created equal and not all deals are either. There are times I am booking a trip and Expedia is getting 5% cash back on hotel stays through Swagbucks, but only 3% on Ebates. Quickly comparing the two you can decide which will get you the most bang for your buck in the long run. Plus, not all of the stores are on both.

MyPoints

MyPoints is another one-stop-shop type of site. You can earn money for surveys, videos, and shopping. I use this site a lot on my clothing purchases. They seem to have a lot of high cash back options on sites I shop regularly, like Macy’s or JCPenney.

One of the other nice things is that it gives you coupon codes to use! Savings on savings – you can’t beat that!

TopCashBack

TopCashBack typically lives up to its name. It almost always has the highest rebates, typically even better than Ebates. Two great things to consider for this site. The first is that there is no minimum needed to withdraw your rewards like some other sites. The second is they have a cash back matching program. If you see cash back is higher on other sites, simply take a screenshot and contact them within 7 days. Make sure that screenshot is dated though!

Be Frugal

As we have established by now, the first thing you should do for any of these sites is comparing the current offers. Besides that, they all have a few different perks.

BeFrugal Members
Be Frugal helps you combine coupons and cash back to save you the most money! You can get paid by PayPal, check, or Amazon gift card, but if you select Amazon you get an extra 3% back to help you keep saving. Also, if you find a coupon that doesn’t work, let them know! They have a coupon guarantee that if it doesn’t work, they will credit you $5.

Mr. Rebates

Honestly, there is nothing that makes Mr. Rebates stand out in a unique way against the others. It is a good site and functions the same way the others do. It doesn’t hurt to try and compare cash back offers to get the most.

One reason I like it is that it is more upfront about the amount you can make. A lot of the sites have “up to” a certain percentage, especially for sites like Amazon. Most sites have an exact amount. No more getting confused about what items you have to purchase to get a certain percentage back.
